Commitment to Legacy

01
Our story

We are a team of two photographers with over a decade and a half of combined experience. Our story began when we started our studio out of the "the carriage house", a historic carriage house of a former estate. There, we built our business on a love of the craft, trust, and a desire for excellence. We wanted the values and approach that we established there to be the backbone of our business. Thus, the name Carriage House stayed.

We wanted to bring along a new experience. You are not just hiring a photographer, you are hiring a team that will serve to tell your story. Our experience in a variety of environments and our attention to detail makes sure that your photos will not only remain timeless, but will also strike a poetic chord in those who see our work.

Meet Our Talented team

We wanted to bring our collective talents together to bring you the best photography experience you will ever have. We strive to provide excellence at every step of the way.

Henry Clark

Principal Photographer

Inspired by an uncle's vintage cameras, Henry's lifelong passion for photography began during his senior year of high school. It blossomed as he discovered the joy a single image could bring to its subject, leading to successful art shows where his prints consistently outsold his classmates'. Though a brief foray into journalism at the University of Mississippi didn't last, his dedication to photography led him back to the University of Houston, where he honed his artistic skills and even gained experience with portraiture and sales at JCPenney Portraits. After graduating with a BFA, he further developed his business acumen at a model portfolio studio before ultimately pursuing his dream of full-time photography, focusing on creating images that clients will cherish.

Francisco Ramos

Retouching and Post-Production

Francisco's photography has been featured in numerous publications, including the New York Times. His love for photography really stems from a love of the arts. He has a deep appreciation for good storytelling across different mediums, which has manifested into directing plays and award-winning short films. He also co-runs the Houston music collective In Bloom.
